Why Newbie Entrepreneurs Should Join A Tribe!

Newbie internet marketing entrepreneurs need to join a tribe because left to their own devices, 99% will fail within the first 2-months. It’s True!

The first mistake a newbie will make, is to try free classified advertising, and/or go to Google Adwords to start pay-per-click advertising. They will quickly find that free classifieds do not work, and that their pay-per-click campaigns will be hampered by massive competition, resulting in high expenditure and little reward in the way of traffic to their site.

So what’s the next step?

They will inevitably be drawn to social media sites, in the hope of some free traffic, like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, and YouTube. And why not, these are some of the most populated sites on the planet!

So you add a few followers and friends, you may get up to a few hundred, in the hope that they will visit your site to purchase something from you. WRONG. Do you think these people are there for you? No they’re not! Don’t get me wrong, you will have good friendships with a tiny proportion of your connections, but 90%+ are only in it for themselves.

How many of your followers came straight back with an acceptance line including a link to their opportunity at the end, 80 – 90% yes?

It’s not surprising the casualty rate is so high. Let’s look at a few web skills the entrepreneur needs…

• copywriting
• web building
• blog publishing
• search engine optimisation
• strategic campaign planning
• pay-per-click campaigning
• social media networking
• article campaigning
• email campaigning
• affiliate programs
• e-commerce
• traffic building

…and that’s without breaking down these categories into sub-skills! It’s easy to see how overwhelming it can become, and also how easy it is to get wrong. A mistake in any one category will mean missed opportunities and lost traffic.

So my friends, where do you go from here?

YOU JOIN A TRIBE.

What is a tribe I hear you ask? A tribe is a movement of people with a common goal, having the same passions and needs, who can connect with each other to exchange views and ideas, discuss trends and developments, and who all strive for the common good of the tribe.

From the tribe you will receive guidance and support from experienced internet entrepreneurs whom have the knowledge that the newbie lacks, and wouldn’t find before he gave up. By contributing to the tribe, the newbie connects with members to form relationships thus becoming interconnected, and a part thereof.

What else can a you expect from a tribe? The opportunity to follow the experienced guys to see at first hand the strategies, tactics, methodologies, and skill sets required to build up your own knowledge base and so your authority.

With odds of 99-1 a newbie entrepreneur needs all the help they can get, to be the one that stands out from the crowd.

So my advice to you all is to find an appropriate tribe, join in and participate. Contribute, add value, because if you just sit on the sidelines trying to catch a few tips you’re not participating, and you’ll miss out on so much value.
